This one has a little luster showing in protected areas and parts of the fields. On CC Trade dollars there is no easy date as all the CC dates are overpriced and difficult to find without problems and with eye appeal. Nice to get the coin in hand looking better than seller's photos. My photos are below and close to what it looks like in hand.

Lovely coin indeed.
I suggest genuine XF/AU range details due to the two deep obverse slashes just below the rim star at K10

I'll say low EF details (cleaned, perhaps damaged). Unnatural coloring.

XF straight - nice looking coin. Toning appears good to me.

Below are the Heritage Auction Photos. The coin has a thin layer of toning in the protected areas and parts of the fields that my photos picked up. There is nothing not natural about the toning. The toning appear to have happened in the old soap holder. The coin was straight graded by ANACS. It may cross to PCGS at the same grade.

Hard to believe this is the same coin. Are you saying that the original mottled images are incorrect ?

Here is a photo that is showing the underlying luster/toning.  Here are photos with low light:   It depends on the amount of light on what toning can be picked up on the photo.

I purchased the coin from the Heritage photos. My thought was that the skin looked original form the Heritage photos, but I did have a concern that the example may be a little too dark.

I like the color, looks decent enough especially for a tough type. I do have issues with the rim damage. That is pretty distracting for a straight grade coin.
