I was hunting on ebay and picked up the NGC graded Capped Bust half. I don't plan on removing it from the holder, so please forgive my poor pictures. And let me know if you need close ups of other areas.

I've convinced myself that this is a 0-118. Am I right?

If so, congrats.

Any chance you can enlighten those of us not in the know, about this particular variety? Or provide a link about it?
Thanks in advance.

I know there are a few books covering the series, but I use this free online guide http://maibockaddict.com/capped-bust-half-dollars.

The 1829 O-118 die pairing has a R-4+ rarity. PCGS has only graded 15 of these and only 4 are AU or better.

Sure looks like it. Lot of time and dedication involved with cherry picking bust halfs. Nice score.

Thank you jdavis18 for the link.
I always find it interesting to look at varieties in different denominations.
