Die clash remnants or a weaker die clash. Are you sure the missing FG is a Greaser?

Nice find. You also have a Die Clash going on as well.
Errers and Varietys.

nice clash remnants after a die polishing event - don't think that grease is a culprit here.

Nice! Thank you lawest and Brandmeister!! Brandmeister now I'm not sure , well the coin has grease all around the eagle and Kennedy head, you can see the E if WE at the obverse side, thats why I thought that is because of the grease. Do you think is another thing that cause that no FG? I attached 3 more images may that can help

Nice! thank you E&V and Dearborn!! I am looking through a whole box of Kennedy half dollar, unfortunately no silver, but happy with what I has found till now Dearborn what do you think what could cause the no FG? Edited: ohh Dearborn I did not understand at first, but I read again and now I do, so you think the no FG is because of the polishing event. Thank you for let me know

https://www.pcgs.com/cert/45061365https://www.pcgs.com/cert/41532586The way the eagle is rounded and EPU has melted into the banner, I think this is a very late die state. You can see on the examples above how FG has started to fade on the worn dies. But your die clash remnants—and the deep vertical polishing scratches—suggest that a faded FG might have been completely scrubbed off the die. That's the sort of coin that I would consider submitting to Dr. Wiles at Variety Vista for examination, submitting to CONECA, or submitting to the Wexler team (if they were accepting submissions). I am no expert on Kennedy halves, though. There are a few folks around here who know all the weird little corners of Kennedy half varieties.

Thank you Brandmeister! I read some reply from the CCF threads, and some say that actually polishing is not an error. I don't know much about errors, and I am not try to argue just trying to understand, but my question is, if die polishing is not an error, why people are looking for the Buffalo nickel two feathers, or three legs? Those are die polishing too (or that is what I has heard) and the three legs are very expensive and desirable for collectors. I just want to know what is the difference between them and this 1983. Can some one explains that for me please? Edited: Brandmeister do you think that this is really worth to sending to CONECA? if so I can try.

As I said, I am no expert in such matters. Earle42 has done extensive research on No FG Kennedy halves, you should get his opinion. Others here have a lot of Kennedy half dollar knowledge, you should consider what they have to say.

Thank you for let me know Yes, because that the clash was so strong, the mint folks had to go back and polish off as much as they could. This means that they polish the flat areas of the field first. Then go after other raised areas to get rid of the clash - and that means 'erasing' parts of the design elements. that means that the 'FG' and part of the 'E' was eliminated.
