I got a silver Roosevelt dime that has a partial date. I am assuming this might have been a struck through error. Can anyone verify or disprove this?

I'm thinking post-strike damage.

Here is why we are all saying that you have a damaged dime as opposed to a strike-through. First, the rim is damaged in that area. Second, the rev flat spot matches up well with the odd area on the obv. This means that the mechanical force which gouged out the date was strong enough to affect the other side. We wouldn't expect either of these features on a legit strike-through.
