2000 D Cent: Is This A Mint Error On The Plating?

It's very important to have in the title. * Is this plating issue on this 2000 D penny from the mint or just damage? I have never run across a coin like this before. I would tend to think it is just damage but the plating is missing from the nose area. If this is mint related is it worth anything Report this Post to the Staff
