Found these 2 at different times but same progressive cracks. I know in general die cracks are not high in value but I am very interested to hear as to if there is anyone who knows about any sets of the same coins/condition showing growth of cracks say across a dozen coins, and as to if such a set grows in value?

I'm not entirely convinced it's the exact same die crack. How it crosses the N looks slightly different, and one crack is not as straight as the other. Also, hard to explain why the supposed earlier die crack has a die break on the steps while the later one doesn't.

I agree it might not be exactly same but its pretty close and at two different lengths of crack, I really was trying to use as an example for my real interest to get some feed back on sets of coins that do show growth of a die breakdown across multiple coins and if sets generate compounded value. I haven't been able to get anywhere on researching this direction. Thank you for your input it is appreciated.

I don't believe that sets of coins that illustrate progression of a die crack would generate any kind of premium. For example, die cracks in Morgan dollars can often be attributed to specific dies by their VAMs, and it's not unusual to see the die cracks in various stages as the die ages. Likewise, you can see die crack progression in some large cent varieties, sometimes resulting in a Cud as an end result. Interesting, but not more valuable.

Yes, that is what I was seeing also. Thanks Zurie for the confirmation on that.
