Hi everyone,

I have a 1960 D Lincoln Cent with what looks like a 'filled' 9 in the date. The coin has some environment damage / discoloration. Hoping for some advice on what this is. PMD, a die break, something else?

Thanks for your help.

The 'filled' 9 is a die chip.

That's a good die chip, in a very common location.
