A 1904-O Morgan dollar picked up at the Nashua Coin Show. What grade do you give her?
I think this coin has been dipped, but not sure if that makes it a Details coin. I do like the toning though.

This one looks like a straight grade 63/64. Coins are hard to grade from pictures but I like the look of this one.

So, the "dipping" doesn't impact the grade?

The dipping is not obvious to me although it is possible. An overdipped coin often does not have subtle peripheral toning. We would expect an overdipped coin to remove that toning.

Perhaps I mistakenly identified the white field as due to "dipping", when compared to the toned border.

63/64. The white spot in front of her face could be a sign of spot cleaning with something like EZEst. I've seen ones look like that if they used a swap to remove a wayward spot of some sort. Nice coin in any event.

reverse is pretty weak for the year.

i think its your lighting thats making the coin look lightly polished.
