I got this one out of a roll of coins today, it looks like it's slightly misaligned on the obverse side. Plus the Ring of Death starting to make itself known. Nothing out of the ordinary on the reverse side.
I've seen dimes and nickels like this, but never on a dollar coin before. Comments?

Was the reverse in alignment? Just wondering as I can see the front was struck a bit low.

No, the reverse looks the way it's supposed too. It's not rotated either.
The picture I took was too large of KB to load.

Could be a Misaligned Die, but we need a reverse photo to confirm.

Anything odd or out of place around the edge? Also is the diameter within specs all around? Thanks, Doug.

Maybe the poster doesn't want to show off the details in the tail feathers.....

I'll retake the picture of the reverse in the morning, and get the micrometer out and check.

There is no progression of a " Ring of Death" it is what it is when the ender coin gets wrapped.
