@ Donnie: Yes it was a good box for those DDRs. I got 2 War Nickels and a number of 40s and 50s nickels as well. I keep the pre-60s nickels. I figure I could sell them off in bulk later on.

Nice find Seeker_101!  I have 5 boxes of nickels waiting for me, but don't know when or how to start looking through them *sigh*

@ Gigi: I separated mine by bust type, 2006 in one pile and everything else in another except for any foreign coins or Buffalo nickels. From 1970 - 2005 there aren't many years to look for doubling on so a quick cursory look for anomalies will suffice. On the newer nickels, more attention is needed.

Thank you for the tips Seeker_101!! I will keep that in mind when I start to look through them. Can I ask you why you separate the 2006? There are something to look through them?
