this 2020 D American Samoa Bat Quarter has an error on the front side of the coin that I have not seen anywhere else. there is a circle shaped mark that encircles Washington's head and lines up with the inner party of the lettering around the coin. it looks like maybe the dryer was pressed too hard when this coin was stamped or something, I'm not sure. anyone have any ideas?
Welcome to the forum. These coins show up here very frequently, the circle is damage from a coin roll crimper, coin counting machine, something of that nature. No error at all I'm sorry to say.
@space, first welcome to CCF. Second, consider learning more by hanging around here before you waste too much of your time chasing damage rather than errors. There are tons of old threads to review and help you understand what to avoid and what to seek.
