Sent my 2000-S Silver Kennedy half to Anacs to see what that gouge was on the reverse through STATES. Came back as a stuck thru fragment, which is what I suspected. Is there any added premium for such an error. I can't imagine there being very many out there in proof sets but I'm curious as to the rarity and value. Thanks!

Excellent, MorganMike - that's really cool! It's not often that you see struck-throughs on proof coins. I imagine that there is a premium, but have no idea how much.

Same as the others, no idea of value but.... 1) nearly flawless DCAM PF-69 & 2) decent size struck through could bring in a nice premium.

You're probably right, but to me it's a flawed specimen, not something I'd pay a premium for.

Nice strike through. Especially on a proof. Not worth that much of a premium, It would probably increase my offer $5.00 .

Regardless of value, it is a very nice coin. I would be happy to have it in my collection.

All I can say is put it up for auction starting at 99 cents or whatever you want and see how much you can get.

I think I'll hold onto it for a while. I was just curious if the error added any value.

Frog has a point about how a collector of Kennedy halves would view this error.

But an error collector would like it for the size of the anomaly and it being on a proof. It should add some value but maybe have a limited market.

Cool Struck-Thru there. Eagle has one snake in the mouth and another one slithering away.
