The pix are from the seller. Listed at $32. Thoughts? I have it at F12. Price seems fair.

Are those rim cuts or photo artifacts? In either case, I think you could find a nicer version of this coin for that money. This is a common date/mm combo. Graded versions in VF range can be found at this price.

Those are not rim cuts, but glare from the coin flip.

Quote: Graded versions in VF range can be found at this price. In theory you could, but there aren't that many graded circulated common date Morgans around. For example, the PCGS population reports for 1890-O show over 6000 graded MS-63, but only about 30 in any of the VF or lower grades. Finding nice raw circulated Morgans is a lot easier.

I suppose graded, circulated Morgan dollars 1893-1895 are easier to find, but these are worth $$$.

I didn't mean to suggest looking for a graded coin, just that coins graded in higher condition are available at that price. If you are going for a grade set, this coin looks fine, especially since the rims are good.

At $32 is nearly the going ask for wholesale VG coins. With these rising tides, the price listed is pretty darn good. Gone are the days of $10 morgans... Quote: It is such a pain to crack open one of those ANACS soapboxes or early PCGS slabs. It is unbelievable. Sad to say but PCGS old green holders are the easiest to crack open. The plastic is slightly more brittle than any modern plastic. Top cutting pliers work very well. For more rubberized plastic such as new ANACS or NGC, a vise to crack the edge works very well.

Yeah, I mixed up the two. I meant NGC, not PCGS.
