I've had this coin for a few years just set aside assuming it's a simple reproduction. Reading the card, figuring the explanation to this reproduction. I wanted to verify if this is a reproduction or the actual rest, strike being the packaging I would've never have thought this could be possibly one of the four. Please let me know what you holding knowledge with this. I appreciate it very much. I'm sure it's just a gift shop item.

Sorry for the waste of time, I know it's a fake. Produced around 1960s, but I will leave it up if people need education

It has COPY stamped into the reverse. There are genuine Confederate Half Dollar restrikes out there. They are quite valuable.

Yes exactly why I'm keeping it up. Always a good reminder for folks to look for the copy counterstamp. Thx for posting @zill!

@frog, this is a reminder that we are all at different levels of experience here and what may immediately obvious to some folks can take others longer to figure out. There is no need for snark here.

Honestly, I didn't see that copy mark, but know the packaging would be much better quality. if you must know, I actually know how to read the dies of a coin and look for the attributions so with that said, I am not uneducated when it comes to coins. But I started somewhere as well and when people try to make me feel as if I'm below them and uneducated. It does not hurt my feelings because I assure you I understand a lot about coins. However, I know so much about pennies being they're my favorite, so this is a hobby and it's supposed to bring joy. As I stated, I left it up for others who take interest I would love to help an area as I can so I really appreciate you being respectful and understanding this dynamic as well. So much appreciation I'll give you in this thank you.

I'm glad that you posted up that coin - it serves as a learning tool for folks that don't know what to look for, so thank you for that.

I purchased "restrikes" of the Confederate half dollar and cent about 25 years ago at the Pamplin Park museum in Virginia. They are very well-done reproductions. Interesting that the attached info cards suggest that these replicas were produced from the original dies although the half dollar dies are supposedly lost, and the cent dies were damaged and/or defaced years ago. My version of the half does have "copy" stamped on the reverse in tiny font. I've yet to find "copy" stamped anywhere on the cent after looking at it many times over the years.

We all started somewhere. We were not born knowing this stuff. Hang in there, most of us are here to help.
