I've seen several Confederate coin restrikes and copies over the years, but I've not run across this one. Can anyone provide any information about this token? Thanks.

That Numista link sure does look like it. Thanks, @Spence. I notice there is also a dime with the same design in Numista.

I'd love to know where these originated. They look pretty old.

Upon further investigation, I've also seen a quarter dollar version (1/4.) There have been a few of these sold at sites like Heritage and GC. They generally bring somewhere in the 20-40-dollar range in this condition. One site suggests that these were produced sometime in the late 1950s in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Civil War.

Now, I need to find the 1/10 and 1/4 versions!

Seems reasonable as it is generally cruder than the one in numista and seemingly derivative to the Haseltine restrikes. Definitely not my area of expertise though.
