Willburton Pillar of the Community United States 2558 Posts	Posted 12/30/2024 7:34 pm Hello everyone. Tonight I'm going to share one of my favorite 1943 DDOs. This one is in an ANACS holder and it is probably the nicest AU graded coin I've seen. This die features a doubled eye, nose and chin. With a strong spread on WE and extra thickness on LIBERTY. I suspect this is a rather rare die being that is is dramatic and listed late on both vv and wexlers. I have a bunch of 43 DDOs and plan on sharing a few of them with you. They will overlook a scratch. I can't remember the variety but I almost bought a MS66 that had a scratch through the motto.
