From the D of UNITED to the F of OF, is just a weak strike due to the bust on the opposing side stealing metal during strike. I do not see any clashing either. I cannot tell with these pics but there is a master trail die that you will see on most 85's on AMERICA. Link below.

Not seeing a Die Clash or Grease. I'm only seeing plating issues, Die Deterioration and a Die Crack, on the reverse.

The obverse design elements are to blame for the weak strike of the reverse.

The first clue to this is that the very top of the letters on the reverse are struck up normally , and this is because that that area fall into the 'groove' of the obverse (between the rim and the bottom of the Bust of Lincoln).
