Well circulated, I found this coin while going through some junk silver rolls.

Nice find denny7000, well circulated yes, but the splitting on the antlers and doubled the last 5 sticks out like a sore thumb! I can confirm this IS the 1955 25c DDR.

Thanks Johnwayne007, my dad put these rolls aside years ago for me to search, with the spot price of silver I've been cashing some of this junk silver for melt.

I'll post a side by side with OP's example beside a BU example when I get on my PC, once you see them side by side it's very obvious that MD is not the cause.

Not an easy doubled die to find at all, I have only had the opportunity to see one in hand and get photos. Although OP's example is circulated, I still think it would be worth $60+. I wouldn't hesitate to spend $100 on one this circulated, they go for $500.00+ for MS to BU examples.

That still looks like MD to me, but you're the "double" expert with pubs.

Yes thanks for the comparison JohnWayne007, good thing I checked before sending this roll off to melt. There were around 9 1955 in a mixed roll. Not a bad percentage!
