So I have a one sided Quarter that is mostly copper it seems like it has a slight silver look but is copper on the blank side and is extremely light weight any idea on if this is a legit coin or not

to the CCF, Krock896801! Someone ground off the reverse of your coin, taking away the cupronickel cladding and leaving the copper core exposed. From the circular marks on the reverse side, it seems that it was done on a lathe. Perhaps they were trying to make a Magician's coin.

It its a legitimate coin that was minted in Philadelphia - then at some point after it left the mint it was machined on a lathe as correctly stated above.
