1920 Wheat Penny - Shattered Lincoln Head

jackson12345 Valued Member Canada 71 Posts	Posted 01/20/2025 10:50 am I posted this a long time ago with no conclusive results how this could have happened. Lincoln's head is shattered with pieces scattered but still intact - nose, chin, back of head, etc.. Like puzzle pieces that can be rearranged again. What process can cause it to shattered but still remain attached to the coin? Minting error or post mint damage? Thanks for any comments. Report this Post to the Staff
