I don't think that is a die chip but rather a partially detached lamination that has folded over. Interesting!

To this day, you can still attend shows at the Ford Theatre in Wash. DC and sit next to/near the Presidential Box where Pres. Lincoln was shot. We used to go there every Christmas for a show and it was kinda eerie. I found myself constantly starring at the box expecting to see Abe's ghost.

The last time I was in DC we walked by the theatre. We did not go inside though.
