This is a 2004 Penny, very beat up but I see no copper on it. Found it in a Loomis roll of nickels.
It's dirty also, so copper may be hiding under it but doesn't look like it.
Should I clean it or does the amount of damage negate the value.
It weighs close to norm 2.49 grams but is slightly larger than a regular penny.
It is not magnetic.

What would you do if it were yours?

I'm not seeing any mint errors or anything to add to the numismatic value, so for me this would be a spender.

Thank you Jbuck and Spence,
So for my own egumacation, the fact that there is no visible copper even in the low areas and the size difference are both insignificant?

Probably a Texas Cent as stated. It's all PMD. Just a spender.

Marve I believe the questionable coin is under the shield cent to show the size irregularity.
