I found this 1982-D DDO a day or two ago. The doubling shows more strongly in LIBERTY. The left side of doubling is more prominent in an LED loupe than in this phone image and is silvery. This is a copper-plated zinc coin weighing 2.5 grams. A solid bronze cent should weigh 3.1 grams.

The value and numismatic desirability of this coin are immaterial to me because a credit union employee who is wonderful about helping me get coins and bills to search happens to be named, no kidding, LIBERTY! She she said she'd just LOOOOVVVVVVVVVVE to have a penny with Double LIBERTY when I told her about such things, so I'm giving the coin to her.

Well there is zinc showing next to the L so it's possibly just split plating.

Can't really tell anything with pictures provided. May just be light glare/reflection.
