There are a few photos attached of this 1988 D Lincoln Memorial penny that shows signs close to the listing in copper coins 1988D-1MM-001 for repunched mint mark. The reason I question my coin is the inability to find that die gouge (dot) on reverse by left memorial base tip. Ive checked the other references and such but not much seems to line up to match the coin pictures attached. I even thought there were triple punch marks but the markers not there. Or, this is just another example of strike/mechanical doubling..Any asisstance or guidance would be appreciated..

Not an RPM. It's Split Plating. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/ I'm also not seeing any die markers on your coin.

Ya know - I'm thinking you may have the RPM 001 besides the split plating.......check it out, what do you think?

Looks like split plating the the South-East, but maybe MD to the North West. It is 'very' close to what Marve pointed out but not exact - maybe a better picture can help.

Interesting. Would like to examine this one in-hand. At a minimum, split plating is doing its magic.

I do not see enough separation on straight leg to be rpm.

I suspect this is RPM-001/WRPM-009.

Dan Griffin may be interested in seeing this example sometime in the future given that there's only photo of this variety in Wexler's files.

Thanks to all. I took Tanmans suggestion and asked Dan Griffin if interested. He responded and said within a month or as time permits for himself he would take a look and post better pictures if correct on the RPM. Appreciate everyones time as always.
