Sharing one of two 1941s large s unc from the lot I got from Waco and these seems to have an small lamination north of the date an what it look like an split serif on the bottom serif of the mint mark

Very nice. I think I can see a split sherif on the mint mark.

Nice find, like the lam. Looks to be a minor RPM but not listed. The closest to what you have is cc's 006 but the mm location is off a little.

Any chance that the lam is causing what appears to be a split serif? There seems to be some overlap, but I don't recall us seeing something like that before.

Ok yes that close-up image really helps. The split serif and lam do not appear to be directly connected, so yes you must have a minor RPM. Thx for clarifying.
