1975 D Lincoln Memorial Penny Appears To Show Doubling At Date

eagle2a1 Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 02/06/2025 01:45 am The attached pictures of this 1975 D Lincoln Memorial penny show signs of doubling, I think, on the 1 and 5 of date. I suppose the 1 could be mechanical/strike doubling but unsure. But, the upper part of the 5 is very unusual. To me it seems like added material, but the community here has most likely seen this before and knows what looking at. There is no reference material inidcating the 1975 D for doubling just 1975.
