hard to say Since you are asking this question, I'll assume it went for a high price.

That it did. If I'm right on the RPM and condition, Copper Coins values it at $4-$5. I can tell you that price is nowhere near what it sold for.

Not sure, but it's a nice RPM.

Just my guesses, no where near what I would pay...Errors and Varieties realized prices out out the door right now...IMO

It was a raw coin and the selling price was $78. I'm also seeing clips and like 15% off centers selling for 4-5 times what they were going for just a few months ago.
@Tacc: I follow auctions in another site: Auction Ninja.

People are nuts!! I also found a 3 cent nickel that I can get retail for about half the price as in the auction. Same grade. This is why I haven't been adding any classic coins to my collection lately.

2025 Coin prices I suppose. I have some RPM's that I could sell. I have never heard of Auction Ninja.

@ Tacc: The sellers there are businesses - mostly estate auctions but antiques dealers, jewelry dealers, pawn shops, and a few coin dealers are there. Never trust what any of them say as far as grade.

I used to get silver and gold below melt along with other awesome deals on Proxibid...but for the past year or so everything is selling at full blown retail w/ a 20% buyers premium. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
