1987 P Dime (Lamination Issue?) - Coin Community Forum

Dallywopper Valued Member United States 70 Posts	Posted 02/22/2025 04:28 am Hello, What are your thoughts on this 1987 P Dime? Specifically the "textured" fields and the mint mark. The texture appears "under" the devices and extends from the center outward in all directions. The texture itself is made up of parallel lines- one is right by the mint mark which makes this an "R" dime! Cool, I know. There is also a circular mark visible through liberty. This marks the edge of a very slightly raised bump on the obverse- as though it were pressed by a smaller diameter object. Comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking. Report this Post to the Staff
