Is it true the US Mint has already sold over 200,000 sets of the new Lincoln Rail Splitter penny two roll set?
I feel like the Mint is creating a shortage situation with the first set so they can make a killing on the future sets.
We been had.

Apparently, 200,055 sets were sold in the first three days vs 96,000 total of LP1. The Mint must have been caught off guard on demand for the LP1 since roll sales usually do not reach 6 figures. I guess they figured that they would be available from banks simultaneously so that would quell demand but of course, the US Mint is not in charge of the distribution of coins so we know how that worked out I would imagine that the other three sets will be produced "to demand" or something close to it.

Well......I'm happy to have my three 2 roll Sets of the LP1 !
Just not maybe "as happy" to have the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th design.....
I'm still pleased with the new Cents overall though.......that's fine !
