hello everybody!
I was analyzing this coin when I came across letters on its edge. It seems to me that there was a double die in these letters
Is this type of error common?
I believe you may also have double ears.

Just seeing damage ( PMD), on the edge, and no doubling.

Sorry, but I agree with the previous comments. Circulation damage on this cent.

There is no way for letters to appear on a Lincoln Cent
during the striking of the coin. It is just PMD

Yes, I agree that the coin is damaged, but I see letters written on the edge

I see that it is difficult for damage to cause the same effect twice as it happens in R

Then please explain how those letters would appear during the striking of the coin.
The collar does not have any letters on it, it is smooth.

That's what I would like to know, I know it wasn't supposed to have those letters on the border, but I still think they are letters
