2005 P Jefferson Nickel Oiv (Ocean In View)- Interior Die Break & Struck Through Grease

Petespockets55 Pillar of the Community United States 5770 Posts	Posted 03/05/2025 12:12 am 2005 P Jefferson nickel OIV (Ocean In View)- Interior die break & Struck Through Grease My local bank had some CWR last week, so I got some. All Denominations, excluding the halves. This was in a roll. I noticed the Struck Through Grease first. Turns out it was struck through on both faces. That's when I noticed a line of chips near the rim at k5 and what looked like a deformation of the design just north of the die chips. Until I took images it appeared that the border of the design at k5 had shifted north slightly. I didn't see a listing @ cuds-on-coins. There weren't many at all for modern US nickels. I guess the Jefferson nickel is the Rodney Dangerfield of coin collecting and doesn't "get no respect!". Enjoy. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
