Good evening CCF.. I would appreciate your opinion on this nice 1943 D nickel. The mintage was low at only 15,290,000 and I think having nice steps may be a plus. There are a few dings and looks like MD as well. Thank you for looking.

I'll guess MS-65 FS.

I'd say MS-64 FS.

Photos are dark so I can't really see the surfaces to gauge them, but definitely full steps. A nice looking example.

Nice nickel! Very similar to the one I posted a few week ago.

The reverse looks like it is week in detail except for the stairs. The roof above the columns and on both sides of that area.

Still think it gets MS64FS probably an NGC 6FS too.

i think I'm in the 64FS box on this one. if it pulls the designation its a $20 retail coin. personally I would look into the D/D RPM FS-501 variety. if it is bump that to maybe $100-110. I'm not into jeffersons other than pulling them from circulation to fill albums but it could be Machine Doubling which can be seen on the motto. unless you have some vouchers I don't think it warrants grading with variety to find out. maybe someone here has more knowledge of these

Thanks for the comments. I'll hold on to it to see what else I find in my nickel box. I kinda think it's MD.
