I was able to snag a 2021 Type 2 RP from ebay last night for a decent price

The 2020 v75 is going to be a touch pricey considering the rest of my collection but for me it's a must have

I collect every ASE I can including all the 'variations' there are and will be.

Yeah you know I do too.
I never really thought about how the privy marked ASEs fit into the collecting world, as far as how it's classified. It exists, so I have it.
I think the only one considered a variety is the 2008 rev of 07.
I do have that one error I've posted about, I guess there are error ASEs or there, but pretty rare.
I love my OGP, but have bought a few of the rarer implied mint marks. Still not really feeling jumping in to the slabbed ASEs.

Filled the gap in my set this week: https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...y_ID=4269689
Now it's a matter of getting the yearly releases. . .
Thanks to the contributors in this thread for the checklists and comments.

Congrats

This may sound weird but when I catch up a collection by filling in the gaps the I know the "excitement" phase of adding a new facet to my collection is over and then it moves into the annual maintenance phase, which is kind of boring

I have also realized that it is very easy to catch up a collect every couple years

When I used to deploy I would get "FOMO" which didn't have an acronym then

But as I got older I realized the coin collecting is a slow paced hobby

The 2026 Red Book came out this week. It reorganized the listing for ASE into two sections: a) Bullion Strikes; b) Proof Strikes.
The uncirculated [burnished] issues are listed with the bullion strikes.
The new Red Book pages are larger (now 6" x 9") and they've increased the font size. GSID numbers have also been added.
