So this guy looks like it could be brockage. I compared it to other coins from this year and couldn't find anything that lined up. Above the man's shoulder is definitely an image of what looks like a partial wing. Around the order of the coin there is a lot of wavy little lines. The coin is thicker on the edges as seen in the photo. It weighs the same as a normal quarter. Any idea what's going on here?

To me, that looks more like it was struck through a late stage die cap, but I am far from an expert in such matters.

I thought brockage strikes generally resulted in a normal face, and that same face mirrored and distorted on the opposing coin face?

Struck through a very late stage capped die comes to mind.

Thank you! Do you think this count is worth grading?

Prior to spending money on grading, I would want to hear an expert like Mike Diamond or Jon Sullivan confirm that it's a struck through die cap. There are many mint errors that can look similar. You could probably get an idea of value from Sullivan Numismatics.

Assuming it's a struck through die cap quarter, it looks like graded versions sell between $100-200. Again, I am not an expert, that was just a quick Google search of auction results. It could be way more or way less.

In my opinion, no. Grading a coin is very expensive. There's a lot of expenses that goes along with it.

It was struck through a late-stage hammer (obverse) die cap that had experienced numerous shift-and-strike events against previous planchets. Here's an image of a similar specimen in which the correctly-facing incuse design elements are more easily seen.
