I don't specialize in Middle East coinage. Found this a while back. Not sure if this is meant to be double struck off center error coin or overstruck over an older coin.

An-Interesting-Iran-Coin

This seems to resemble one that I found in numista

What are your thoughts on it?

Not at all sure that this type is machine made - Other Iranian coins of this period are hand struck.

I guess double struck error can happen with hand struck.

It's hard to find Iran coins from this era.
