PCGS - A show-stopper for Toner Tuesday. This rainbow-toned Morgan dollar boasts beautiful colors, an impressive pedigree, and a rare grade, with just one PCGS-graded example finer.

You know, he picks the topic for that particular day of the week, I guess not.. Sorry!

Pacificoin you are absolutely right. A lot of times
it's all about who you know.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

You must have known exactly what I was making! I like mine on marble rye, of course.

I agree 100%!

The big auction houses can also pull strings and get it slabbed.

Just to add, the 1888O is usually
Found with a fairly substandard
Strike. This questionably coloured
piece is a text book example .
Examine the area around the ear
and hair above it .weak
The reverse exhibits similar weakness
at the branch , eagles claws , and below
the tail feathers .
Furthermore, there are slight enviro issues
on the reverse to the right , below AMERICA.
If one looks closely , there are also just to many
light ticks, marks.
Frankly I have seen better straight graded 64 and 65
coins . This featured coin would be a hard pass for me .
