W&H has had different times. Many outstanding artists, sculptors and medallists have worked with this company. But there were years and events that W&H approached with medals with a frankly borrowed plot and without authorship. We will talk about the medals from W&H for the World's Fair in New York in 1939. The plaque is a clear imitation of J. Kilenyi and the medal is an image of the artist, borrowed from the A. Charpentier medal.
