NGC - Coin of the Day: On this day in 217 B.C., Ptolemy IV Philopator of Egypt defeated the Seleucids in the Battle of Raphia. This Ptolemaic Kingdom Silver Tetradrachm with the deities Serapis and Isis on the obverse was struck around that time.
