I got this from an antique shop today. Is this a casino token? Does anyone know the origin, history, composition, and value?

Edit: I found out that the language is Dutch and in the 1880's, casino didn't necessarily refer to a gambling establishment, but rather a social club. I found the reverse translates to "exhibition of agriculture and horticulture 1884", and the "landbouw" on the obverse translates to "agriculture". I also believe "Valkenburg" on the obverse is a name of a town in the Netherlands. This medal is 40mm in diameter, 3.5mm thick, and 25.54 grams.

Nothing to do with a casino other than the saying "Agriculture is like a casino"

I found a silver version of this medal cited in Tijdschrift van het Koninklijk Nederlandsch Genootsshap voor Munt- en Penningkunde, (Journal of the Royal Dutch Society of Coin and Medal Studies)p.285 (1903):

It looks like maybe yours was struck in bronze?

This similar type struck in bronze by the same organization a few years later (maybe there are annual or bi-annual meetings) sold a few years ago at auction for 24 euro:

An additional bit of trivia is that Valkenburg had a mint in medieval times (14th/15th c.).
