What is this error on this Penny that's only on the Obverse. Is it a major strike through error or what error is it. No it's not Post Mint Damage.

Judging by the condition of this coin, it's PMD. It's not an error coin. It's heavily worn down from circulation and heavily damaged post mint. I would suggest studying what are actual errors and what aren't errors on error-ref.com. https://www.error-ref.com

Please take your time doing research, if you want to learn more about actual errors. It will help you understand better on what is an error and what's not an error.

Looks very much like the Struck Through Late Stage Strike Error Penny's on auction sites and ebay and Error-Ref.com. Nearly identical, just needs graded.

Nearly identical to what the Struck Through Late Stage Penny on Error Ref.com looks like, including with the Obverse and not Reverse affected. Rim or collar only on Reverse though, Obverse is flat with no rim or collar.
And,it does have the "ghost image" of the Lincoln design or as ErrorRef.com puts it
"A coin struck through a late-stage die cap will show a strong "ghost image" of the raised design" There's however many of these on ebay and that's the error their telling people it is. Would have to look again if graded or not graded, thought there were a few graded with having that Struck Through Late Stage striking error.

Haven't figure out why only Reverse has the rim or collar. Obviously needs cleaned by a TPG if going off to get determined if it's Struck Through Late Stage striking error or not.

Your coin is a violently damaged cent. It was not, is not, and never will be any kind of error coin. It certainly is not what you claim it to be.

Here, apparently, is the error-ref.com entry you claim it looks "nearly identical" to: https://www.error-ref.com/struck_th...age_die_cap/

Your coin does not look "nearly identical" to it. It bears a superficial similarity to one of the three examples, only in that something has worn away the obverse design completely. The giant knicks, gouges and scratches clearly point to mechanical damage. Occam's Razor suggests all of the oddities on this coin are likely to be caused by a single cause - in this case, whatever did the mechanical damage.

But since you aren't apparently willing to listen to anything contrary to your already-formed opinion, let's do some scientific tests. If my hypothesis is correct, that amount of wear should have caused significant loss of weight. If your hypothesis is correct, it should weigh the same as a normal cent. So, weigh your coin on a 2 decimal point balance and then we can discuss options.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I can create hundreds of these in my shop with simple tools. How many do you want to buy? Sounds like an e-bay sale right? ( please listen to the experts here).
