When a bank has $50 or more in customer-wrapped half dollars, I typically don't find any silver coins in those rolls because they were dumped there by another CRH. But I generally purchase them anyway because I just add them to the half dollars I acquired from banks that I eventually cash at my "dump" banks.

Today the teller at a BoA branch that previously never had any half dollars told me she had nine customer-wrapped rolls. "Too many", I thought to myself. However, because I planned to soon cash several boxes that didn't contain any silver, I bought all of them. I found a 40% silver Kennedy half dollar in the second roll, and two more in the next one. Overall, I found seven silver coins -- plus a proof 1969 half dollar (the second time that I've found a proof Kennedy half dollar that contains 40% silver).

You never know! Sometimes it's smart to purchase a cache of customer-wrapped rolls of half dollars.

Outstanding finds. You seem to have great luck hunting half dollars! The banks where I have accounts never have any halves.
