I voted 'other' simply because I've been involved with these coins for so long the 'newness' has long ago been replaced by familiarity with all of them.

I seem to recall my initial classic commemorative purchase was a circulated Stone Mountain half. Researching that coin led to a life long enjoyment of the coins - and as a circulated example was the precursor to a long hunt for a complete circulated type set.

For me, it's the 1892 World's Columbian Exposition Christoper Columbus Half Dollar. There's something about being the first of the series that always makes it come to mind for me. I know its not the most artistic design of the series, but its chronological position within the series is set, memorable and noteworthy.

The Oregon Trail for me. It's the one which always caught my eye in a display of commemoratives, and was one of the first commemoratives I purchased when I decided to start collecting them.
