Here is a 1936 Buffalo nickel under normal lighting, however when lighting and camera angle slightly change, the 6 converts to 5! Are there known 1936/5 nickels? I am wanting to sell, so how would I establish a value? Thanks in advance. ADDED MAY 10/25 - 2 additional photos added showing the superimposed 1935 and 1936 dates - a perfect match I think.
Not an overdate. In addition, the two dates have different obverse designs. The left ribbon on a 1935 Buffalo just touches the top right of the last digit of the date and is thin and straighter than the 1936 obverse design, which has a thicker land more angled left ribbon running beneath the last digit of the date. If such an overdate existed, the ribbon would be sharply doubled.
