The line that touches the top of the denomination is a die clash. It is the mirror image of the top of Miss Liberty's cap.

There's also Die Deterioration going on on the stars as well. The stars are stretched out.

For better images, try taking the pictures from directly overhead - it helps to reduce all that glare on the coin.

you could try the same angle shot...but put a piece of tissue over your light source to defuse the flash/glare.
