I saw that post about 1942 over weight/Brass coin.
Of course I had to check out the ones I have.

This one weighs a little heavy. I put it on the scale several times. Once it pulled up 3.26 the rest 3.27.
Before I weigh a coin I checked the placement if it'll weigh true no matter where it is. Center or the four corners.

Check out the scrapes on side of the face.
The color.
It's been in a 2x2 for around 15 yrs.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
Rob.

It is just ever so slightly overweight when you consider the tolerance of .13 g
Not really enough to have any significance.

It may just be a rolled thick planchet. In regards to color, this is more along the lines of what you want to look for:
1942-S-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent.-Weight-Problem.
1942-S-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent.-Weight-Problem.
This example has an unusually yellow color all over, as well as a large scratch starting at Lincoln's ear revealing brassy metal underneath the surface. If you look closely you will also notice it has a streaked appearance, which is common among these brass error cents. It is thicker than a normal cent. I'm not sure if the San Francisco Mint was even capable of making this type of error.

I'm thinking it was struck on a slightly Rolled Thick Planchet.

Thanks everyone.
It is probably a thick planchet.
Just because of that other post my long term memory kicked in and (sorta remembered ) I had a coin that had odd coloring somewhere.
I'll be back in a couple days and if I remember just for kicks I'll take it to a shop.
I'll let you know.
