Here is another possible un-plated Penny. Lets first start off by saying def an odd one for sure. Weight is 2.6gr (which in its self makes me think it might have been chemically removed) But at the same time reading this https://www.error-ref.com/?s=un-plated
So same time cool do not see any signs of chemicals being used. As it states below:
However, examination shows a series of striated raised lines on both the obverse and reverse of the coin in question. This lines are that of a coin that has been chemically (or electrolysis) stripped of the copper layer.
At this point getting excited right
But then:
These lines are not to be confused with gas bubbles that are common in the copper plated with zinc core cents. Gas bubbled cannot form where there is no layer between metals.

So at this point, I am thinking Maybe Stamps

An accurate weight (to two decimal places) might tell us more. The pics of the rim seem to show 'removal' of plating--seem to...

Are you sure the weight is correct? That's heavy. It does resemble the one you gave the link to that had the plating removed though.

ADDED: I wonder if it has been re-plated with the added weight?

Since you did a side by side comparison, with a regular cent, it looks larger in diameter. Maybe a Texas Cent?

I kid u not I thought u were making a joke as it looks like Texas compared to the other one and I fully believe this is what it is due to the rim pic I took

You don't need to measure, just lay the normal coin on top of the other coin.

Just heavily circulated is all. Your scale is miscalibrated. This is the Zincoln equivalent of an Extra Fine grade. Compared to the uncirculated example in your last pic it also looks like someone gave it the " Texas Cent" treatment which is notorious for knocking the plating off.

Actually, never mind about the scale; this coin is within normal Weight Tolerance for zinc cents. There's a really good weight chart here https://www.coincommunity.com/us_co...lerances.asp
