Picked up at a show for a buck today. Is this a weak RPM? I checked Copper Coins and Variety Vista, but nothing really jumped out at me. The cent is still in a flip, but if we think it's something interesting, I can cut it out.

You may be right, did not have much to work with here.... I just did a quick comparison but here is a better side by side comparison. Pics are deceiving though, possible angled pic, shadows and the fact it's under plastic, who knows. That's why I suggested the OP check for markers.

There were no matching markers for WRPM-021 (or 022, which looked similar). While the die scratches through IN are probably damage, I thought those circular scratches along the rim were a result of manufacture? They appear on many nickels, even in EDS.

I will cut it out of the flip tomorrow, soak in acetone, and take better images. The flip has a lot of crud anyway.

I'm gonna say that the claim of "uncirculated" seems dubious. =P

Brand, what going on with the ear? Is that damage or a doubled ear?

There seems to be a knock or maybe a die chip on the lobe tip. I can't say that I'm entirely familiar with Abe Lincoln's ear, though. Perhaps it was just the axial lighting casting an odd shadow?
