"Be Aware This May Be A Way To Get You On A List To Buy More Coins As crystalk64 Said In the post below" I was searching on the web last night and found this webpage that has silver eagles for $8.95 a peice but they have a limit of 5 per order (I have ordered 20 with 4 different orders but dont know if I will get them all or not)but anyway I figured I would let you all know about it now because I dont know how much they have in stock but here is the link! https://www.littletoncoin.com/Offer...mc_id=KS9718

If you go on their main page and go to their silver eagles they are 18.** a peice so follow that link, I have already gotten my receipt for the orders and so far there has been no trouble with it

it says this when you check out "Sorry, this item is available for delivery in the United States and its territories. All prices are in U.S. dollars. All payments must be in U.S. funds." so if anyone anywhere else from this forum wants some let me know and I will do my best to get you some as well

Did it also say something about "Coins on Consignment" in the fine print. Littletons is famous for getting you on their mailing list by offering a real good deal on something but they also will send out other coins for you to look through and hopefully buy at inflated prices. Go to their site and see what a Silver Eagle normally costs and you will understand. And, be prepared to PAY shipping on the coins you don't want and will have to ship back every time they mail to you from here on out! I really don't think you want to be on their mailing list 4 times. Check them out.

The first time I ordered from Littleton, I failed ro read the fine print. Not interested in their "approvals."

I recently came up with a pretty good deal from my coin store. $12 for 2000 ASE, in an airtite. Bought several.

Bryan1350 I just wanted you to be aware of what may be coming your way. It doesn't matter to me where you, or anyone else for that matter, buys, sells or trades your coins. As long as the individual is happy then you could ask for no more than that! I only wanted to prepare you and any others who may take Littletons up on this offer that there will be a slight catch that you will have to deal with. Good luck with ALL your future purchases!

I understand and I want to thank you for your input, I wasnt aware they used these tactics. I was debating on wether to remove this post or not and if you all think it would be best I will definately do so. That is the main reason I posted it for the knights and not the main forum so maybe I would get some good input on this company because all of you are alot more knowledgable than I am because of me just starting out and not done business with alot of people. I guess I will just see how it goes but if any of the moderators think this should be removed I understand

Littleton does jack their prices up on the coins on approval. I was on it for a little while and they actually tried selling me a F Mercury dime for 4.50 and a dateless Buffalo nickel for 2.50 and an ASE for 18.00. Needless to say I sent them all back immediately and cancelled the subscription. But I didnt have to pay anything for the shipping and the return trip was prepaid shipping by them.

I am a happy camper on those firms
Belgian law is very explicit
If somebody sends something you did not order explicitly or under contract you just can keep it and not send it back
I got a lot of usefull things for free because I know the law

Also by law it is forbidden to sell joint contracts
Like you get a cell phone for free if you subscribe for one year

Ageka I don't suppose they ever send out gold on approval do they? If you get things unsolicited here the law will protect you as well but many companies use the "fine print" in their offers which means you MUST have read the offer? Or at least you had the opportunity to read it and failed to do so? They buy on the Eagles is really a great buy at this time so I would take the coins, send the others back and cancel the subscription pretty quickly.

I see no reason to remove the link to Littleton. While they are a little pricey, they do accurately grade their coins. The potential issues with purchasing from them have been covered in the posts above.

By the way, I moved this to the Main Forum as it is a numismatic topic.

I would have posted it here myself but wanted to get some feedback before I had everyone running for the deal and then it looking bad on the forum if they got put on a list that they would have to cancell to stop them from sending other coins to them. I will also just send back all the coins and cancell the subscription the first time, but I thought I would atleast tell people about them so they could decide if they wanted to do it or not

Abyss the American Eagle is currently in the $13 to $13.50 range at most dealers. If you need some at current prices feel free to email and we can work something out. Glad to help out a friend in need!

If your worried about return postage just don't open the approvals and write return to sender on package then there will be no cost to you to send them back.

Can't you just send them a note along with your order you don't wish to subscribe to their approval service?
