I stumbled upon this 1955-S Lincoln Wheat penny and noticed it's in pretty decent condition. Upon looking further, I noticed some cracks on it, would this be considered die cracks? I'm still fairly new about learning about coins and errors. Worth sending in to get graded and checked out?

Thanks for the feedback on this coin community.

I see a possible Pre-Cud, Die Chips, and a Die Crack.

Nope. Only worth a few dollars in the condition it's in. The U.S. mint minted a ton of these and finding high grade examples isn't hard. It's a nice Wheat cent, but not worth grading. The fees would exceed the value of this coin. Still a nice find though.

Good analysis by @e&v, but I did want to compliment you on your pictures. Even the close-ups are well-lit and in-focus. Well done @mon.

Nice looking 55 cent but terminology correction, cracks
are not considered an error. Also as previously stated,
certainly not worth spending $55-60.00 on getting it graded.
