@ssw, glad that you were able to figure out the picture posting as it can be a little finicky at first. Based on the roughened fields and weight well below mint specs, it seems to me that your cent was exposed to a corrosive environment. With those coin-shaped arcs across both faces, I suspect that it spent some time piled with other coins, such as happens in water fountains and soda-filled automobile cupholders. Whatever the specific instance though, this would have happened after the coin left the mint. I'm not seeing any mint errors.
